Retreat disclaimer, terms, conditions & policies
​IN CONSIDERATION of being allowed to participate in the Retreat and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge, I (the “Participant”) agree with Emma Gourlie of Soma & Soul Movement and Marnie Spoeglar (collectively the “Activity Provider”) to the following:
DETAILS OF ACTIVITY
1. Scheduled from the evening of July 24, 2025 to morning of July 30, 2025, the Participant will be participating in the following activity: A 5 1/2 day long retreat at Paradiso Pure Living in Aple di Suisi, Italy with yoga, group sessions, excursions and movement. Potential hazards include but are not limited to: walking on uneven ground, stairs, being exposed to weather, swimming, hiking in the mountains, travel by vehicle, possible emotional triggers due to sharing in a group/being with a group of people for an extended period of time.
CONSIDERATION
2. I acknowledge that I (the “Participant”) am responsible for myself, the topics being discussed are personal opinions and not a substitute for medical advice. I will use discernment during workshops and honor confidentiality and will not share personal details of discussions shared by other participants during the class without permission.

3. I understand that yoga/movement includes physical exercise as well as an opportunity for relaxation and stress reduction. As in case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. I affirm that I alone am able to decide whether to practice or not.

4. I hereby agree to irrevocably release Emma Gourlie and Marnie Spoeglar from any physical or psychological distress, injury or liability that may occur during the week. If I am feeling unstable I will seek professional advice from an appropriate source.

5. I understand that this retreat is not going to diagnose or suggest treatment for me beyond the scope of practice of the Activity Providers.

6. Being of lawful age (18+) and in consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activity, the Participant releases and forever discharges the Activity Providers, The Activity Providers spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and assigns from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims, and demands for or by reason of any injury resulting in the death of the participant, which has been or may be sustained as a consequence of the Participant’s participations in the Activity, and notwithstanding that such damage, loss, or injury may have been solely or partly by the negligence of the Activity Provider.

7.The Participant is responsible for checking and abiding by travel requirements set by the Country or Countries they are flying in and out of (including Country of origin). This includes and is not limited to: having a current passport, knowing vaccine requirements, what they are and are not allowed to bring in or out of the country and having proper insurance in place in case of emergency. The Participant assumes all risks and possible refusal of entry if requirements are ignored.

8. The Participant understands that the Participant would not be permitted to participate in the Activity unless the Participant signed this Waiver.
CONCURRENT RELEASE
9. The Participant acknowledges that this Waiver is given with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of certain obligations owed to the Participant by the Activity Providers, and with the intention of binding the Participant's spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and assigns.
FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE
10. The Participant acknowledges to the Activity Providers that the Participant does not have any physical limitations, medical ailments, or physical or mental disabilities that would limit or prevent the Participant from participating in the Retreat Activities. If required, the Participant will obtain a medical examination and clearance.
FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT
11. The Participant acknowledges and agrees with the Activity Providers that :(1) the Activity Providers have given the Participant sufficient time to carefully read this Waiver, (2) the Participant has been given the opportunity to seek independent legal advice prior to signing this Waiver, (3) the Participant fully understands the risk and claims that the Participant is waiving to participate in the Activity, (4) the Participant is freely and voluntarily executing this Waiver, and (5) the Participant is forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against the Activity Provider for any property loss or personal injury that the Participant may sustain while participating in or preparing for the Activity.

FINANCIAL AGREEMENT, PAYMENT SCHEDULE & CANCELATION POLICY

​A €500 ($750CAD) non-refundable deposit is due upon registration to hold your spot to Emma Gourlie of Soma & Soul Movement & Marnie Spoeglar of Pure Yoga Retreats.

Remaining balance (€1250.00) will be invoiced by Paradiso Pure Living 6-weeks prior to the retreat.​

Email money transfer is the preferred payment method. We can accept payments by credit card with an addition 3% charged.​

Deposit to be made in CAD, remaining will be billed in EUROS.

There are no refunds on a deposit once you have paid, if you are no longer able to attend you may transfer your spot to a future retreat. There is no guarantee on a future retreat and prices may increase.

***Retreat price does not include hotel tourism fee or gratuities to resort employees. Gratuities are not mandatory. ***

If the retreat is canceled by the hosts you will receive a full refund of the deposit minus processing fees if paid by credit card.
