My name is Emma and I am a Creator, Space Holder, Energy Facilitator and Embodied Movement teacher who primarily works with women seeking to find their way back home to their bodies, bring harmony to their nervous system and find belonging through movement, ritual and community.
I love weaving Mysticism and Astrology into my offerings along with the energy of the Moon. There is so much wisdom to be gained by awakening to the phases of the natural world around us.
Whether it’s through a movement class, sound journey, private session or Women’s Circle, I am here to hold space and witness you. I will meet you where you are at and support you as your journey unfolds.

I believe that life itself is a lesson to encourage us to grow in love and self awareness. I use my time on my yoga mat to practice for life. I have learned a lot about myself by noticing how I approach, respond, resist, and settle into my yoga practice and believe that these same patterns show up in all aspects of our lives. Yoga has offered me the space to figure out what was most important to me and provided me with the tools to transform the way I felt, both on the inside and out.
It is my intention to provide a safe and inclusive space for others to find their way back to themselves and to offer the tools they need to experience themselves differently than they are able to elsewhere. I am relatable and warm and make others feel at home regardless of how much experience they have on their mats. I believe in whole hearted living, in getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, in growing and learning, in finding balance, in having gratitude, and in practicing peace as a state of mind. I have found that the more I practice these things on my mat, the more I am able to live them off my mat as well.
I love spending time with other people encouraging them in their own growth and sharing the tools that helped me find freedom and peace in my own life. I believe that we all have the ability to heal through breath, movement, and a deeper awareness of ourselves. Let the journey begin!
This newly-built retreat center is nestled within a lush, blooming equatorial garden and is located on the outskirts of the coastal town of Uvita, Costa Rica. The property backs onto the Uvita river and is a short drive to the soothing surf of the Pacific Ocean.
From the moment you settle into your suite you’ll instantly be in relaxation mode. Wifi, quality bedding, and bedroom air conditioning will maximize your comfort and guarantee a great night’s sleep.
The expansive open-air 360 degree yoga deck gives a feeling of spaciousness and a sense of freedom.
An atmosphere of peace and serenity is created by the warm tropical breezes, and the gentle music of birdsong. And complete with mats, blocks, blankets and small weights.
Join us for our second gathering at Synergy Retreat Centre in Uvita, Costa Rica where the lush, mountainous rainforest meets the ocean and the sounds of nature soothe the soul.
This year’s retreat presents an opportunity to delve into self-expression, foster connections, and tap into your creativity. With an array of activities and yoga classes you will experience a transformative journey towards living from your soul.
Synergy is a special place that backs onto the Uvita River and will be our own private sanctuary for the week. It is full of hidden relaxation spots, private decks, and lounging chairs. We have our own private access to the river, a swimming pool, cold plunge, and stunning accommodations with the most comfortable beds! We will have exclusive access to Synergy with a private chef and retreat guide arranging our rides and making sure we have everything we need. This place will easily become home for the week as we spend time together building a strong sense of community and friendship.
Retreats differ from a regular vacation because they offer a special opportunity to rest and receive nourishment on all levels (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) by being connected to nature, movement, breath, and fresh, nutrient dense food. The location, the sounds of the jungle and nearby river, the gourmet meals, the theming of each practice, the soul session inquiries, and the activities we do will all be thoughtful, meaningful, and offer the chance to heal, grow, and relax all while having fun exploring how you might colour the canvas of your soul.

Transportation to and from San Jose and Synergy Retreat Center in Uvita

1 group shuttle is provided each way and will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel near the airport. **We will choose two hotels for pickup

This is a 3.5 hour drive but is the beginning of your adventure. The drive includes some special stops.

6 nights, 7 days in comfortable accommodations of your choice, shared, private, or semi-private dorm with luxurious bedding, a/c, and hot water

3 abundant, locally sourced, nourishing, organic vegetarian meals per day

Morning coffee, tea, and fruit

Group excursion to Marino Ballena National Park to walk nature trails, spot animals in their natural habitat, and explore the famous whale's tail beaches

Day trip on Friday to the beautiful town of Dominical to explore the farmer's market, shop, eat, drink, and hang out on the beach.

Investment:
Pricing for the retreat is based on the accommodations that you choose upon registration. There are several options for private, shared, and semi-dorm style rooms all with varying prices.
Prices range from $2275-$2675 USD all inclusive. Accommodations are limited in quantity and we are only releasing 17 beds in total! You can choose both your suite and your bed, so there is an advantage to signing up early and getting the room of your choice.
Please let us know upon booking which room you would like. Some are great for sharing with a friend and others offer more privacy.

Luxury Cottage Suite:
$2775 single occupancy
Your own private cottage! Queen-sized bed with extra thick, deluxe pillowtop mattress, private bathroom, closet, and a beautiful modern shower that opens out to the garden. Also a kitchenette with a small counter, sink and mini-fridge, Bose sound system and a private patio to sit and enjoy the tranquil nature surroundings.
Flower of Life:
$2275 based on double occupancy
The Flower of Life is a comfortable and stylish room with a private bathroom. It contains two stacked beds with extra-thick, deluxe pillowtop mattresses, a large closet with shelves and drawers, a couch seating area and a private bathroom. It shares a patio with the adjacent Hamsa room, a secluded nook to relax and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the lush surrounding nature.
Hamsa:
$2275 based on double occupancy
The Hamsa room is stylishly decorated, with modern and eastern motifs. There are 2 stacked beds with extra-thick, deluxe pillowtop mattresses, a large wooden storage for your things, and a private bathroom. There are comfortable places to relax inside and out, whether on the sofa or on the patio shared with the Flower of Life room.
Private Single Rooms:
$2275
Two new private rooms in their own building, each with a single bed. These two rooms share a bathroom with joined doors at the back of the building. A great option for friends traveling together who want a private space but don’t mind sharing a bathroom.
Private Queen with Private Bathroom:
$2575 Single occupancy
These are gorgeous private rooms each with a queen sized bed, bathroom, and small patio out front. We have 7 available!
